It’s no secret. The search engines and your customers crave content. They’re addicted. Are you giving them their fix?
Blogging is a great way to continue adding quality content to your business website, but it’s not the only way. Have you really done everything you can to create content for your website? Lets assume for a moment that your site already has an about page, and pages for each of your products and services.
There are other pages that you can create to get the word out about your business. First, make sure that you really have every product or service covered. If there are some that you’ve neglected, make sure to add pages for those as well. Here are four suggestions for pages that can help raise your business profile.
- FAQ Page - What are the questions that perspective clients and customers continue to ask? Creating this page can offer all the answers in one tidy location. If done right, this could be a useful tool for your website’s readers.
- Blog Statement - What is the underlying purpose of your blog? Who are you speaking to? Publishing this information can give readers a more clear-cut idea of who you are and what you are about. Who are you looking to help with your blog, and how are you looking to do it?
- Speak To A Segment Of Your Customer Base - Let me explain this a little. If there are more than one “ideal customer” that your business serves, you can create a page that speaks directly to them, addressing their issues. People like to fell that you are talking with them, specifically. This can be a great way to do it.
- Testimonials - A testimonials page allow satisfied customers to toot your horn for you. It holds more weight than if you do it yourself. Let them tell you how they helped you. Some people work testimonials into the copy. Having a separate page allows for more space and can help provide that extra content.
There are several options out there for expanding the amount of copy that you work into a website. What other ideas do you have?
