Internet users have caught up with shady intentions. Instead of asking how to trick Google to become number one, it’s time to ask how to work with them. Dropping a keyword bomb all over the search engines has become transparent. When you write your website content, blogs, and other online marketing materials without using pronouns, your customers have caught up. You need to write for people to succeed.
Write For People
The better strategy is to keep in mind that the Internet is written by people, for people. After all, it’s living, breathing human beings who will buy your stuff. They’re not there waiting for their sitcom to come back from a break either. They’re visiting your corner of the Internet voluntarily.
You’ll need to treat them accordingly to find any measure of success online. This means writing copy that will provide value, and entertain. It means writing the type of content that your customers will want to share.
If that’s what you’re looking for, I’ve got a free guide on writing for people to get you started. I also plan on sending out periodic emails that will help you provide this type of value to your clients and customers, no matter what your business is.
